Yes you can use materials from other copyrighted works like TV shows and Movies. But You have to make sure it is a FAIR USE.
What is a Fair Use: Fair use is a legal doctrine that says you can use the copyrighted material from other works without asking for their permission. And it can be used to make money as well, Here’s how you can use other videos without getting sued or your channel taken down by youtube,
- You can make parodies of existing shows by changing the audio or combining short clips that give it a new meaning.
- You can use 10–15 sec clips to review these movies or shows, that is a fair use.
- You can highlight mistakes in a scene or storyline by adding your own voice or narrating the same.
- You can also have something like top ten or top twenty movies or shows to watch and use the clips from these movies, its a fair use as you are not earning by broadcasting but earning by reviewing or promoting. Anyways if you are promoting someones work they will never take an offence, its the best way of using fairly.
You can also think of many other creative ways which fall under the fair use doctrine. To learn more visit Fair use – YouTube
Yes, you can do it.
With video clips, you can join them together and make them unique video. Some You Tubers do re-uploading video from TV, even News or Sport event to make money in You Tube.

What are the biggest money secrets that rich people keep from us?
Life would be a whole lot easier if someone would just Venmo us $1 million, but unfortunately the chance of that happening is, well, probably zero. (Venmo doesn’t allow transactions that large anyway.) But even though our chances of becoming a millionaire are slim, we can still manage our
I’ve seen numerous videos on Youtube that perfectly matches with the description you have given here. As long as you are adding the right disclaimer and using the video for non-commercial use, I don’t think you will be in much trouble.
However, this is just guesswork on my part.

You can use them in your videos but for entertainment purposes only. Which means that you cannot make money off them due to copyright issues. I think watchmojo and other channels are partners with companies that give them the license to allow making money off videos. Games are fine i presume, but tv shows and movies have a strict contract that you cannot make money off their product as it includes the brand name.

What’s a good investment for 2022?
This might sound unconventional, but hands down I’d go with blue-chip art. A Basquait painting soared 2,209,900% when it was bought for $5,000 and sold for $110,500,000. And if you think that is crazy, a Leonardo Da Vinci painting skyrocketed 5,328,894%. Although not guaranteed, if you can f
If any of the owners of any of the clips files a DMCA take down almost assuredly.
I’ve heard that YouTube actually as some kind of screening tech that might not even allow you to upload it, but Ive never tested that.

Not only are YouTube’s rules in your way, but this is also copyright infringement. You run the risk of being sued by the company that made the TV show or movie.
Fair Use requests you to fit into four rules. You seem to have minimal use nailed down (small clips), but your new work doesn’t have any substantial new content added to the final video. You are cutting into the market for selling these clips by the TV producers. And you don’t seem to be fitting one of the approved purposes (review, commentary, parody, etc.) because all you are doing is posting the video clip with no added content.
And Fair Use is only in the United States. I mention this because I don’t know if you are located outside of that country. The rules in other countries for using someone else’s material are even more restrictive.
You should be able to do it since it would fair use, however, most Youtubers will try to give you a copyright strike if you do that. Even if they seem nice and say they are in favor of fair use, you shouldn’t trust them.

Generally speaking, this is a recipe for disaster. There may be some exceptions such as very limited uses but the “fair use” doctrine is always risky and getting a DMCA take down notice (and getting copyright strikes on youtube) is no fun! Good luck
