• The update from Fall 2020 made moving photos from one album to another dependent on how they were UPLOADED. You must upload one photo at a time to the album, not several at once. No idea why Facebook made it so, or why they wont tell the solution in their Help pages, but i’s worked for many of us once we try this upload.

    Adding an update:

In case the photos have been uploaded in bulk, the option to ‘Move to Other Album’ is not available.

You have to follow below steps:

    1. Use browser Log In or Sign Up with Desktop site and not mobile app
    2. Open the post which has the photos. Click on one of the pics. On top left side, it will show the album name where the photo is residing.
    3. Click on the album. For ex: Mobile Uploads or Timeline Photos. Click on Edit to edit the album.
    4. All the photos within the album will be edit mode. Hover over the required photo
    5. You will see a down arrow button like V on top right corner of each photo.
    6. Click on it. Move to other album option will be visible.
    7. Select the new album name and click on Move Photo. You can create empty albums before hand.
    8. The photo will be moved along with Date/Time/Likes/Comment/Description

Please note that you need to own the post and photo in order to move it to an album. You cannot move tagged photos to your albums.

    update:

it’s been at least a month or so that the ‘Move To Other Album’ option is back in the menu on posts with an image uploaded as well …

in fact, the old menu had almost totally disappeared for maybe a year or so … and the new one had only a few mostly useless options! but the good ol’ menu’s back now … 🙂

    _ _ _

apparently it’s impossible to do so now! i have tried to find an answer to that by searching around but to no avail unfortunately!

maybe, now we have to do it just as we did in older times: open the album you want a certain picture to go in first, then create the post in that album, and in the end share it on your timeline …

haven’t done that myself yet so not sure if it’s still possible to do so … …

Conservatism as a philosophy is a failure. Taking just events in the US as examples:

If you were conservative in the 1770’s, you were a Tory that wanted to remain under British rule. If you were conservative in the 1860’s, you wished to retain slavery and started/lost a war in order to do so. If you were conservative in the early 1900’s, you desired to prevent women from voting. 1920’s – in favor of Prohibition. 1950’s – initiated a Red Scare. 1960’s – against civil rights. All these positions have ultimately failed. I see no evidence that this pattern will change.

What are the biggest money secrets that rich people keep from us?

Here are the five biggest secrets they never share.

You open the album that you are to remove the photograph from. The three dots in the upper right hand corner, click on that and hit transfer the photo that you are wanting to transfer and hit select, hit done. Then it will ask you where do you want to transfer this to and you would either pick a new folder or a new album to transfer it in hit save.

I checked with my profile in case there have been any changes as I have not visited my albums recently.

I don’t see a way to rearrange images.

    You can edit or remove.

    You can change layout.

I am using a desktop computer.

You need more sophisticated code to do by mouse image rearranging.

I don’t see how it could be done or adapted for older albums.

They are there by order they were added.

When I created my albums I put all images I wanted on my Facebook page in a separate folder and name all the images. I took time to set it up because it is an arrangement for futureing when desired.

Why are these shoes regarded by millions as the comflest shoe?

The men’s shoes for walking and standing all day without discomfort.

I’ve looked at photos and albums in groups I admin and moderate and don’t see any options to move photos uploaded as posts into albums, even photos I uploaded myself. I do have the option to download photos, which I can then upload into an album, if I thought it would benefit the group, but it would have to have a clear benefit, because that’s a lot of work. Even if it was possible, it would not be something an admin or mod would decide to do without prompting from the member.

If you want your photos in an album, you should create an album in your group and upload the photos there. Click on More, click on Media, click on Create Album.
