What you can do when your vape doesn’t charge?
Cleaning the battery
- Unscrew the battery and look at the threads. If they are dirty, clean them by following this simple process:
- Take the cotton swab and rub it over the battery threads in a circular motion. If the threads were dirty, you will see the residue on the cotton swab.
- Blow on the battery threads to make sure any extra residue is removed.
- Screw the clean battery and take a drag on your e-cig.
Check for faulty chargers
If your battery’s threads are clean and you’re still not getting a charge, try charging the battery in your USB charger, your pack, and car charger (if applicable).
If your battery does charge properly in one charger but does not charge properly in another, your charger is faulty, not your battery.
Chargers are covered by our one-year warranty. If you are still under warranty, you can exchange it for an operational one at no extra cost. This warranty applies to the product under normal use.
Faulty battery
If you’ve tried the tips above and your battery is not charging properly, you have a faulty battery.
Sometimes batteries are covered by the warranty. If your battery is still under warranty, you can exchange it for an operational one at no extra cost. This warranty applies to the product under normal use.
Do the coils need to be replaced?
The coils in your battery could be bad if they’re not heating up, but there could also be a connection issue. Try cleaning the top of the battery with a cotton swab and isopropyl. Coils will eventually need to be replaced, but the frequency depends on usage.
Is the battery damaged?
Did you drop your battery on the ground or in water? Unfortunately, it could be permanently damaged if the internal connections have been interfered with. If nothing else is working, it may be time for a new battery.
Typically, a vape battery can last for many years, depending on amount of use and care. Here are some tips to ensure your battery works optimally and consistently provides flavorful vapor.
If you’re trying to charge it using anything but the charger it came with, stop doing that. If you no longer have that charger and can’t replace it, get a new vape.
If you’re trying to charge it by plugging the charger cable into a USB port on your computer or on a USB hub, then you should know that power isn’t continuously present at those ports and won’t be there at all on a non-powered hub.
If you’re using the right charger and it’s plugged into a household electrical outlet or a power bar connected to one, and it still won’t charge, then you might have a dead battery on your hands or some faulty circuitry in the power bar or wall plug. If you plug a lamp into the same socket and it works fine, then the problem is your battery.
If the problem is your battery, you have to replace it. If you can’t remove the battery, you have to replace the vape.
I think that covers all the scenarios.
Before you shop at Amazon Prime, read this.
The dead giveaway that tells you when Amazon’s giving you a better price than other retailers.
If it’s a retail product and you’re using a suitable charger/cable (such as many USB cables are terrible at charging) and its battery is not too old to be worn out, you might be able to take it back.
Depending on where you buy them, and who makes them, often vaping units or batteries (for those vaping units without the batteries built in) have manufacturing defects, or can be fake and not have the rated capacity or correct internal cells, and not charge or only do so a couple of times. Sometimes also for those units with built-in batteries, the wires may break.

Well 1st off it may not be rechargeable through USB but if it is and you have been charging it that way, the charging port maybe be broken and need to be replaced or it could possibly be the charging cable and block itself. If it has removable batteries. The best thing to do 8s get an external charger. Without knowing what vaporizer you have, it could be many variables that contribute to your problem. May be time for a new vape if that’s something you can do.

You should try cleaning the battery top first to make sure there isn’t a connection problem. Use a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to wipe over the connections to clean any gunky wax or oil built-up over time. This will ensure that you’re always getting the strongest connection possible.

The myth of e-cigarettes as a safe alternative
“The evidence consistently shows that, while some people successfully quit smoking with e-cigarettes, most people using e-cigarettes have their chances of quitting conventional cigarettes reduced by about 30%,” Dr. Stanton Glantz, Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco’s Center of Tobacco Control Research and Education, told Mic. “The most dangerous thing about e-cigarettes is that they keep people smoking cigarettes.”
Dr. Glantz conceded the possibility of e-cigs as a way to transition from tobacco cigarettes, but argued that the bulk of e-cig users are what are referred to as “dual users” — consumers who smoke both e-cigs and traditional cigarettes.
That notion is backed by a 2012 study published in the American Journal of Public Health, in which researchers found that e-cig utilization was highest among current tobacco cigarette smokers at a rate of 11.4%, compared to 3.4% of the total population surveyed, 2% of former smokers and 0.8% of those who never smoked a traditional cigarette. Furthermore, a study in scientific journal Tobacco Control found that 75% of dual use smokers do not even believe vaping will help them quit cigarettes and “reported planning to quit within the next 6 months less often than adults who smoke cigarettes exclusively.” A substantial 42.3% said they never plan to quit smoking whatsoever. That continued use means that e-cigarettes will have long-term health effects on users, but it’s still too early to tell exactly what they will be (the first e-cigarette was invented in 2003). Dr. Glantz suggests another 5-10 years are required to conduct definitive research, but his research has led him to develop an understanding of the short-term epidemiological impact, and how it relates to potential long-term risks.
Vaping’s damaging effect on the cardiovascular system
“My current thinking is that e-cigarettes are going to cause less damage than conventional cigarettes in terms of cancer, but they’re probably just as dangerous – if not more – when it comes to heart disease and non-cancer lung disease and asthma,” Glantz said.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year — that equates to one in every four deaths. In fact, heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. The spreading popularity of e-cigarettes are likely to increase those numbers.
“One of the main things about smoking that causes heart disease is the ultrafine particles that are delivered through the smoke, which trigger inflammatory processes and damage the cardiovascular system,” Glantz said. “E-cigarettes deliver as much or more ultrafine particles as the ones found in cigarettes. That’s something you can’t get rid of because of the way cigarettes work — you generate an aerosol of ultrafine particles that carry the nicotine down into your lungs where it’s absorbed. You do that by burning the tobacco.
“The way e-cigarettes work is by heating up a liquid solution — propylene, glycol, glycerol, nicotine and flavorants – and that generates the ultrafine particles that go into your lungs,” Glantz continued. “The e-cigarettes that work the best in terms of delivering nicotine generate more and smaller particles than a conventional cigarette, and the smaller these particles are, the more dangerous they are. They have immediate effects on your blood and blood vessels, which we have already been able to measure and quantify.”
“The similarities between e-cigarettes and conventional cigarettes in terms of vascular effects are extremely troubling,” Glantz said, bluntly, as he concluded his explanation.
How long have you allowed your son to abuse and disrespect you? Your son has crossed a line that no child should ever be permitted to cross and you in effect held the gate open for him. Now you are wondering if you should continue with meaningless warnings and threats you’ve made and never followed through on. Children are quick studies. Never make threats or promises you aren’t ready to act upon.
No 16 year old who has been raised with loving limits, healthy boundaries, negative consequences for bad behavior, and taught and expected to respect authority slaps his mother or speaks to her that way. That type of behavior from your children should NEVER be tolerated. Is the boy’s father in the picture at all? If so get him involved in disciplining your son. Mother, your son needs to know in no uncertain terms that he is never, EVER to lay a hand on you or speak to you in a disrespectful manner again.
He absolutely must learn that there are negative consequences for crossing that boundary. Unfortunately time has passed since this incident you are writing about occurred. The time to take swift action was when it occurred. What did you do, if anything? If you did nothing, you just enabled and emboldened him to continue to abuse you. And these things typically escalate. You may have to call 911. Except this time no warnings—it’s obvious those are meaningless. And please do not try to protect him or excuse his behavior. Allow the police to do their job on arrival and press charges please. Because you’ve permitted him to work up to this, being put in cuffs and spending the night in lock-up may be what’s needed to break the unhealthy patterns of the family. When you pick him up the next day and get him home, that is the time to sit down and lay out the ground rules. This is where you should be very clear that you are his parent NOT his friend. Raising a hand to you ever again will result in a call to 911 again and jail. Be very clear this is not an empty threat and be ready to follow through on it. Back talk and other disrespectful verbiage will be dealt with swiftly. Do not drop the charges let him appear before a judge.
Find out if your town has a Peer Council. This is high school students-his peers- who volunteer to serve as an alternative to regular court. in some cases he is allowed a choice between the two. Lest he thinks that will be an easier route he will quickly find out that his peers are harder on their own than regular court and they will decide his sentence which he must abide by or he will have to stand before them again.
For now, Take his phone away for a couple of weeks and if he has a car, pull the ignition fuse so that he can’tI use it for the same period. And stand your ground.

No matter you like the truth or not, taehyung infact does vape. He has been seen with it five times now. I will list all the incidents down below and it’s upto you to believe it or not.
- Speak yourself: japan edition DVD behind the scenes
This was when jimin and tae reached the stadium location for their rehearsal and tae, who didn’t know he was being recorded, took out his vape pen and was about to drag a puff, but retrieved as he realised he was being filmed. You can see that, jimin and tae were laughing it out after this. Link is at the bottom of the answer
During the same DVD, tae was talking about his singularity outfit being very heavy and wants to make it light, jhope and jin were teasing tae saying “ you were trending worldwide because of the outfit, you still want to change it?”. He was holding the vape pen in his left hand all along. He was about to tae a puff in an uncut version, but I couldn’t find it. The remaining video footage is in the link down below.
It is very clear in the videos, So, i will upload the youtube video and specify timestamps at the bottom of this answer, you can check it out.

Tae’s painting picture
So, in conclusion, taehyung does vape. While some armys are supporting taehyung and going as far as to make it the sexiest thing in the world like 👇🏼👇🏼
Some report accounts that even talk about tae and his juul
Some are just liking vaping because taehyung does it
And the manager armys 💪🏻🙄
I have nothing to say to all these people except STFU. Leave this alone. Juul might not be the best thing in the world, but guess what, neither does alcohol, nor fast food and carbonated drinks. Hell, the air around us is not the purest thing either.
It is his choice at the end of the day, just like a fed up army on twitter said.
I know some people are more concerned, because he is a vocalist and it may affect his voice. So does coco cola and alcohol in the night. There needs to be a balance to everything. We are still able to hear tae’s amazing voice, so it means he is taking precautions and keeping his health checked. So, 🤷🏻♀️

Best case scenario, you have a product that is 510 threaded. In this case, pick yourself up a mod style vape battery. Anything but smok brand. They have the worst QC of any vape company, which is saying something. The next worst, is wismec, is good enough that I spent 20 bucks on one. Seriously, voopoo, vaporesso, eleaf, ijoy, joyetech, Kanger… any of these brands are better. I do recommend a removable battery mod, as charging in an external charger is best. Don’t believe me? Check out this video of a smok vape pen exploding while charging.
And ALWAYS buy vape batteries from a reputable brand, such as LG Chem, Samsung, Sony Murata, sanyo, Panasonic, and Molicel. ALWAYS buy your batteries from a reputable vendor, such as Earth’s #1 source for IMR 18650 Batteries, Chargers, Cases & Wraps or 18650batterystore.com. Do not try to save a few bucks on cheap batteries or cheap chargers. Always stay below the CDR of the battery you use. If you don’t know what this means, then read or watch Battery Mooch.
Seriously. Battery saftey is no joke. I’d rather have an empty wallet and keep my face or my junk intact.
If you have an AIO unit, then the above applies as well, but you’ll need a new tank too.
Five times is the toggle on/off . If you toggle on and the light comes on while depressing the button, it means you are supplying power to the heater. If you have liquid in the tank and no smoke or hissing sound. you are not getting a good connection to the heater or the heater is bad.
I bought my wife 20 tanks with heaters for fifty cents each. (way cheaper than a replacement heater). Every one of them had a loose heater element. Simply screw it down tight and try again.
MyFreedomsmokes dot come sells a tester that screws onto the battery and then lets you screw the tank on top of it. It tells you the voltage of the battery and the resistance of the heater. it cost less than 5 bucks when its on sell and will tell you right away where the problem is.
Assuming that both devices have the same connector style to fit the charger, then one would assume that they also are the same voltage (5V). Look at both charging devices and they should both have specifications listed on the plug units. If they both list the same AMPS, then you are good to go. If the vape requires more current than your phone charger can provide, then it will not work. If you were to try and charge your pen with the lower rated charger, it may make the charger unit overheat and it will not be able to fully charge the pen.
Again, assuming that they have the same connectors, just by a charger of similar type that meets the higher of the two device ratings and then you can use it for either device.
