Indigo Corporate Meal (CPML) is a special on-board service, offered to people who’ve booked through Indigo’s corporate partners or those who have pre-booked their meals through the web.
If you see and wonder why on Earth is Indigo offering free meals to random people, no, they’re not. They are checking their guests list who have booked their meals, a part of their boarding pass (generally the extreme right) which reads
Special Services:
CPMLare then demanded by the crew for verification and to avoid duplication of the free meals. You also get certain discounts when you book Meals through their web portal.
Corporate Meal is a special service provided by the airline to passengers on board the flight. Usually the corporate body which books the ticket for the passenger pays the air ticket charges along with CPML charges.
When I travelled on a domestic Indigo 6E flight with CPML service, I was offered the option of one food item (sandwich or rice, veg or non veg – depending on what’s available with them on board) and one fruit beverage.
If CPML is not sufficient or you don’t have a CPML, you can buy food by paying money to the flight service attendant.

CPML .. the term basically stands for Corporate Meal .
Indigo airlines in a bid to boost its market presence & make it more corporate friendly has tied up with many big corporate houses & offers on-board meals, drinking water as well as liquor (in some international flights) bundled in the fares for such corporate and executives.
This in turn makes Indigo the preferred choice for corporate houses specially those whose executives are frequent fliers, making it a win win situation for both.

CPML stands for Complementary Meals in Indigo. As part of CPML, you will get the below options
Ready to Eat (Any one of the below)
a. Maggi/Noodles (Tomato).
b. Rava Upma
c. Sambhar Rice
d. Sanwiches
Along with this, you will get beverages like (Any one of the below),
a. Tea/Coffee
b. Paper Boat – Softdrinks

CPTR just means Corporate booking. There are certain benefits of choosing paid seats for free when its a corporate booking.
There’s nothing ‘special’ about it. That’s basically of no use once you are aboard. If you’re seeking for food then I’m afraid you’ll have to buy it.
And if you’ve actually booked a meal while booking the ticket, you’ll have a special code written just below ‘Special Services’.
If there’s nothing written below it except for your credentials then all that you’re getting is a glass of water and nothing else.
PS – I had a hoping flight today. That’s when I found the thing written on my boarding pass. I thought I was gonna get something to eat because I was TOO HUNGRY. But then I found out that I had to prebook a meal to actually avail the ‘Special Services’. Anyway, the best part’s that I bought a lot of stuff and I ate a lot. xD
